CORSAIR strikes partnership with Stream Hatchet

Jake Phillips, Chief Revenue Officer of Stream Hatchet, spoke on the partnership in a release: “As a long-time fan of CORSAIR products, I could not be more excited to work with their team. In addition to our analytics dashboards, we plan to equip CORSAIR with the training and expertise to measure their competitive impact in the gaming market.”
Stream Hatchet has developed products and solutions to help measure esports league performance, optimise influencer marketing campaigns, and inform go-to-market strategy. During the DreamLeague Season 13 Major earlier this year, Stream Hatchet was used by CORSAIR – the title sponsor of the event – to identify key performance areas relating to the tournament, including hours watched.

Lauren Premo, Director of Gaming Marketing at CORSAIR, also commented on the deal: “As a leading name in esports and high-level competitive gaming, we are thrilled to have the tremendous insight of Stream Hatchet at our disposal. Their in-depth analytics will help keep us at the forefront of the industry and ensure that we continue to partner with the best possible talent.”
Since the beginning of 2019, CORSAIR partnered with Team Envy & Team Vitality and agreed to acquire Scuf Gaming and its patent portfolio.
Esports Insider says: CORSAIR’s partnership with Stream Hatchet continues a trend of companies working with analytics companies to get up-to-date information and live statistics to observe audiences. With viewership often seen as hard to measure in esports, bringing in those who know how to get the numbers that matter is important especially when considering future sponsorships and deals.
