Febby's coaching days for TNC Predator come to an end

Almost a full year after joining TNC Predator in a coaching role, Kim “Febby” Yong-min has left that position behind and has been transferred to the main team as the official position five and final member of the roster.

On January 14th, 2020, Kim “Febby” Yong-min left his playing days of Dota 2 behind as he joined the amazing TNC Predator squad in a coaching position, looking to take the team to more Major victories. While their first tournament together was rather disastrous, the Dota 2 Pro Circuit came to an abrupt halt as the COVID-19 pandemic effected the world – which saw TNC and Febby stuck together through a plethora of regional events. While TNC struggled at times, toward the end of 2020 the team begun to come together again to regain their spot atop the Southeast Asian events, with Febby playing as a stand-in for the Beyond the Summit Pro Series Season 4: SEA – which TNC eventually won.

In a post today via their Twitter account, almost a full year later, TNC confirmed that Febby would no longer be assuming the coaching role for the roster but rather has now been added to the team as their official position five player and team captain. After missing an official fifth on their team for a while through the end of 2020, TNC are now a full roster once again as they go in search of a spot at the first Major of the year – with the League season beginning in a little over a week. The full TNC roster is:

  • Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte
  • Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios
  • Damien “kpii” Chok
  • Timothy “Tims” Randrup
  • Kim “Febby” Yong-min

Febby’s experience along with the brilliance of the entire TNC roster should prove to be invaluable as they head into the season and it will be extremely interesting to see just how the squad perform as the DPC kicks off in 2021.
