Berlin-based esports organization G2 Esports has announced the return of its talent search reality series Making The Squad for a third iteration focused on FIFA, with Pringles serving as a presenting partner. This activation is part of a “major commercial partnership” between G2 and Pringles Germany.
Earlier this year, Pringles expanded its partnership with global esports tournament organizer ESL as well as signing deals with the League of Legends European Championship and Berlin gaming center LVL.
Making the Squad: FIFA Edition will be a co-production between G2 and global 4K UHD channel Insight TV, where the show will be broadcast.
The previous season of Making the Squad was presented by Nicecactus, while its first saw paysafecard as its presenting partner. As with previous iterations, the third series will see contestants compete for a place on the G2 Esports team and a €10K ($11.8 USD) prize.
