Logitech Announces $2M Donation to Help India Battle COVID-19 – The Esports Observer

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage India in one of the worst humanitarian crises in the country’s history, one company in the gaming and esports space is offering help: Logitech.. In a social media post from Logitech CEO Bracken Darrell, the company announced it is contributing $2M USD to Oxygen for India, the largest donation in the history of the company.

Oxygen for India is an initiative started by the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy, a public health research organization with offices in Washington, D.C. and New Delhi, that looks to raise funds to help the completely overwhelmed medical care system in India.

Right now, according to a report by WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, India is overwhelmed with patients dying before they can even see a doctor. Also, even when being seen by a doctor, there are times when there is no oxygen, ventilators, or beds available.

Those interested in donating can do so here.
