London Royal Ravens could drop its entire CDL roster for 2021

According to reports from players, the London Royal Ravens have released its entire Call of Duty League roster. After the news of the CDL moving to 4v4 in 2021, organizations seemingly began to panic. The Dallas Empire immediately dropped world champion James “Clayster” Eubanks and other rumors are swirling. However, London took it a step further and released its entire roster. Still, the players are able to resign with the team ahead of Free Agency. This move by London was simply to let their players test the waters and see who becomes available.

London Royal Ravens with a blank slate

This story began picking up steam early in the week, as Bradley “Wuskinz” Marshall announced on stream that he was no longer on the squad. This was followed up by the rest of the team announcing their impending unrestricted free agency status.

It appears that London didn’t renew the contracts of any of its current players. While this could mean none of them will play for London again, it could also be a negotiating tactic. The Royal Ravens might want to see who gets dropped by other rosters in the coming days before resigning any of its players from 2020.

Still, this puts the entire squad in a weird spot for 2021. The Call of Duty League moving to 4v4 has caused “Rostermania” to be fast-tracked, causing some hysteria. CDL organizations want to sign the best roster possible, but they simply don’t know who will become available. Or do they?

According to former professional Chris “Parasite” Duarte, most of the CDL rosters for 2021 are set.

If this is true, then London knows exactly who is available and the organization is likely going another way for 2021. This means a solid chunk of its 2020 team might need to find new homes. However, most of the squad’s stock should be fairly high, as they placed fourth at COD Champs.

Daily Esports will let you know how this Call of Duty news tracks going into the 2021 CDL season.
