The new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will feature both a male and female version of the game’s protagonist, Eivor. Taking it one step further Ubisoft will be shipping statues of the female hero with Collector’s Editions of the game.
Assassin’s Creed takes place in civilizations across the world from all different points of history, recreating the struggle between the Assassins and the Templars. 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will follow Eivor and his or her viking clan as they go from ninth century Norway to England. Both versions of Valhalla’s hero, Eivor, sport the same blonde hair style, Viking garb, and battle axe. More than looking super badass, this statue offers some insight into the story of Vahalla. Via Twitter Darby McDevitt, the narrator of the game, revealed that the male and female versions will both have canonical paths in the game.
A veritable treasure trove of goods will come with the Collector’s Edition, including a statuette of the male version of Eivor and a soundtrack. While only the male version of Eivor was featured in preliminary marketing materials the hardcore female with the side shave will appear in future promotions. Full gameplay for Valhalla is on the way soon to keep gamers appeased until the game releases this holiday season.
With how awesome this 3D figurine looks, it’s time to get stoked for what this Viking can do in motion. Valhalla is available for pre-order now!
