This week, the new Call of Duty Warzone deals with changing the playlist within the game, adding new modes and taking some away.
The full list includes the following changes:
- Kingslayer – Trios
- Plunder – Quads
- RI – Mini Royale – Trios
- RI – Resurgence – Quads
- Blood Money – Quads
- RI – Resurgence – Duos
- RI – Resurgence – Trios
Raven Software has also confirmed that due to unforeseen circumstances, Iron Trials ’84 Solos and Duos have been removed from the Nov 11th update and replaced with core BR Solos and Duos.
But while these are notable changes, they are nothing compared to what is coming nex to the game.
Call of Duty Warzone will receive a new Pacific Map in December that replaces Verdansk forever.
With no plans to bring back the Modern Warfare experience, it means gamers have only a few weeks to enjoy it before it vanishes.
Caldera will be the new Warzone map that arrives on December 2 which has been described as being just as big as Verdansk but offering very different opportunities when it comes to playstyles.
A message from Raven Software teases: “Warzone will change its title to Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, or “Warzone Pacific.” The new Pacific formally launches as part of Vanguard’s first season of content. A map roughly the size of Verdansk, which it will replace as part of the update, this new map is based on two years of research and listening to the community.
“Built on the same tech and engine as Call of Duty: Vanguard, this map is visually appealing as it is ready to support this new game’s armaments, and will support fully optimized cross-play, cross-progression, and cross-gen support.”
But while Caldera won’t be playable until December, new Warzone events are being planned in the lead up to launch.
This includes a new flashback event for Verdansk that kicks off next week and will include new cosmetic items to unlock.
It should be noted that Operation: Flashback will begin on November 18 and will be its own mode available for selection on the Warzone main menu.
“The city and its surrounding area hosted over 100 million players for the past 18 months, and plenty has changed since March 10, 2020. From blasting back to the year 1984 to hosting ’80s Action Heroes and Hauntings, Verdansk proved to be the place to drop in again and again.
“To celebrate – and bring back –these classic moments and many more, lead developer Raven Software created a special “Operation: Flashback” limited-time mode, featuring plenty of surprises that cover Verdansk’s action-packed history.”
