Call of Duty Update Today: Warzone Modern Warfare Patch changes confirmed
Call of Duty Modern Warfare developers Infinity Ward have this evening signaled that a small update has been released for the game.
However, it's mainly tackling the games new Battle Royale mode, Warzone.
The news was confirmed by the developer on Twitter, with the official studio account telling users:
"A small patch was just deployed that fixes a bug that causes players to ‘lag’ or see hitching as they approach or attempt to interact with a Contract in Warzone."
This particular bug is one of the most complained about since lanch and earlier this week the developers did stress that a fix was currently one of their top priorities.
Following the update some players have noted that servers are struggling, perhaps with players placed in queues whilst they attempt to get back into the game.
