Call of Duty Warzone Start Time Countdown confirmed for 10 March release date
Call of Duty Warzone, the Modern Warfare Battle Royale game now has a release date and start time.
The in-game classified menu from Call of Duty Warzone appears to have been updated in-game and is now displaying a countdown clock.
This classified tab was previously added to the game at the start of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 2.
That was back on February 11, when incidentally players also got their first proper taste of the game mode and map as part of an introduction video feating Ghost in Verdansk.
In the last hour, however, the tab has changed to a digital countdown clock.
The clock countdown timer is set to reach 0 at 3PM GMT tomorrow.
That's Tuesday, March 10m which has long suspected to be the release date for the game mode for some weeks.
For those reading this or playing the game elsewhere in the world, that's a start time of 8AM PT or 11AM ET.
Warzone was leaked heavily this morning following a YouTube impressions video going live prematurely from a YouTuber who we assume attended Activision's recent press event for streamers in LA, California.
From what people have gleaned from the video before it was taken down, Warzone is set to be a standalone game, separate from Modern Warfare.
Cross-platform play will also ensure PS4, Xbox One and PC players can jump into games together.
A number of previously leaked details were also confirmed (as much as you can confirm with a leak).
This includes everything from the rumours surrounding the inclusion of the gulag as a respawn arena that houses 1v1 Gunfight matches for the chance to rejoin the game, right up to several of the in-game map locations.
Fortunately for Activision and Infinity Ward, the leaks will soon come to an end, because judging by this countdown time showing in Modern Warfare, players on all platforms have less than 24 hours to go before they can finally get their hands on the game.
Stay tuned for more details should they arrive. Which judging from the number of leaks we've seen, is probably a given at this stage.
