Digimon Survive delayed to 2021

Digimon Survive, a tactical RPG that takes place in the Digimon universe, is now delayed until 2021. The announcement was made on Twitter on Thursday, with a statement written by producer Habu Kazumasa.

“We had originally planned to launch Digimon Survive in 2020 but current world events have shifted our development timing and we have made the difficult decision to push Digimon Survive’s launch to 2021,” Kazumasa wrote. “We thank you all for your continued patience as we work to create a fun and engaging tactical RPG game along with a memorable story for Digimon fans!”

Kazumasa also shared that additional updates will be coming in “Spring 2021,” so fans should “stay tuned for more information.”

Digimon Survive was previously planned for a 2019 launch, but the game was postponed to 2020 before this delay to 2021. For those who are eager to crack into a Digimon game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and its sequel, Hacker’s Memory, came to Windows and the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
