FIFA 21 release date is almost here, with EA Sports getting ready for the rollout of their next entry in the hit footie series with a beta first followed by a demo. So, when will the FIFA 21 demo get released? And how do you take part in the FIFA 21 beta that is running right now?

If you have these burning questions then Express.co.uk is here to help…

FIFA 21 DEMO – WHEN IS THE FIFA 21 DEMO RELEASE DATE?

EA Sports is yet to confirm when the FIFA 21 demo release date will be, but looking at past release schedules could give us an idea of when the free download will be arriving.

Last year the FIFA 20 demo was released on Tuesday September 10 ahead of the game’s release on September 27.

This is in keeping with past release schedules when the demo for the latest FIFA game was released around two weeks before the game’s full release.

As we mentioned earlier, the release of this year’s FIFA game is happening later than usual.

FIFA 21 will be arriving on current gen consoles on Friday October 9 ahead of the launch of the next generation version.

If EA follows a similar release schedule as they have done previously, then we could see the FIFA 21 demo release between September 20 and 22.

FIFA 21 BETA – HOW DO YOU TAKE PART IN THE FIFA 21 BETA? WHEN DOES THE FIFA 21 BETA END?

The FIFA 21 beta began on Friday August 14 and will be running until Tuesday September 1.

Unfortunately, the FIFA 21 beta codes were sent out between August 12 and 14 so if you haven’t received codes yet you’re out of luck for this year.

EA reportedly sent out FIFA 21 beta codes to players for specific modes – such as FUT, Volta Football and Career Mode.

And they allegedly selected players based on the amount of time spent on each mode – so if you spent tonnes of time in FUT you were more likely to get a beta code for that then Volta or Career Mode.

Beta codes for FIFA 21 were sent out to PS4 and Xbox One players, with no closed beta for PCs or the Nintendo Switch.

If you want to increase your chance of receiving a FIFA beta code in future then you’ll need to opt in to receive EA e-mails.

Click here to head to the website you need to visit to turn this feature on. You’ll need to select the box that says ‘EA may email me about EA news, products, events and promotions’.

It’s important to note that previously beta codes have only been sent out to FIFA users in the UK and US.
