Genshin Impact: Eula Ascension And Talent Materials

Eula is Genshin Impact’s newest Greatsword-wielding Cryo character. She has her very own banner and is the latest 5-star character in-game at the time of writing.

Let’s take a look at what materials you’ll need to ascend her and upgrade her talents, as well as where to find them.

Where To Find Eula’s Ascension And Talent Materials

Shivada Jade Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones can all be received from the Cryo Regisvine and Cryo Hypostasis Bosses.

Cryo Regisvine is located in Falcon Coast, and Cryo Hypostasis is located in Dragonspine. Shivada Jade Chunks and Gemstones don’t drop very often from either boss unless your world level is quite high, so expect to mainly gather these by upgrading through the alchemy station.

Additionally, the Cryo Hypostasis boss drops Crystalline Blooms. This is the only boss to drop this material, and you will need quite a few of them, so don’t neglect to fight the Cryo Hypostasis whenever you get the chance.

If you need help taking down this boss, check out this guide on how to defeat the Cryo Hypostasis.

Common Drops and Books

Dandelion Seeds are a Mondstadt specialty plant that can be found near Mondstadt’s front gates, and in an area north of Sal Terrae and west of Wyrmrest Valley. Dandelion Seeds can only be gathered every 48 hours, so be sure to stay on top of gathering this material.

The Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Resistance can be found in Forsaken Rift Domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Philosophies of Resistance can only be obtained on the hardest difficulty, but can also be crafted at an alchemy station, using lower rarity Resistance books.

Damaged, Stained, and Ominous Masks can be obtained by defeating Hilichurls. These enemies are very common and can be found almost anywhere around Teyvat. They can also be upgraded at an alchemy station to get higher rarity versions.

Mora Cost

To fully upgrade Eula, you will need roughly 7 million Mora. Mora can be gained most efficiently from Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Wealth. Mora can also be obtained from events, quests, and defeating monsters. If you’re looking to fully upgrade Eula, start saving your Mora for her, as you’ll need a lot of it.

Experience And Rare Items

To get Eula to level 90, you’ll need about

  • 414 Hero’s Wit
  • 15 Adventurer’s Experience
  • 12 Wanderer’s Advice.

These numbers are only accurate if you only use experience books to level up Eula, and don’t gain any experience from battling monsters. Experience books can be obtained most efficiently from Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Revelation. They can also be received from events and quests.

Dragon Lord’s Crown can only be obtained as a reward from the Azhdaha Challenge. Azhdaha is found in the Beneath the Dragon-Queller Trounce Domain, and rewards can only be received once per week from this domain.

This means that to fully upgrade Eula’s talents, you’ll need to do this domain every week, and hope you get this material as a reward.

Finally, the most difficult to obtain material used for upgrading Eula’s talents is the Crown of Insight. These items can only be obtained through time-limited events like the Energy Amplifier Imitation event that occurred in the version 1.5 update. These are frequent so keep an eye out for the latest events.
