Rockstar is kicking off a four-week-long celebration in GTA Online by giving all players a free vehicle. Jump into the action before March 3 and you’ll unlock the all-new Dinka Versus, a rough-and-tumble off-roader that’s perfect for all your backcountry shenanigans.
GTA Online has seen continued success through 2020 and into the start of 2021. Rockstar wants to give back to the community, and for the next four weeks, it’ll be offering free in-game swag to all its players. Things kick off today with the Dinka Versus, which Rockstar hopes will provide you with a bit of a boost during your off-road activities.
“The Dinka Verus is a resilient off-roader that can withstand a barrage of brutal rolls, savage spins, and implausibly catastrophic head-ons,” said Rockstar. “Of course, its exposed driver can’t. But keep in mind that it’s a two-seater, so you can share the injuries with your buddy. For two weeks only, civilians can claim their free Dinka Verus from Warstock Cache & Carry.”
The free vehicle is only part of the current celebration, as you’ll also find that all Contact Missions are offering double rewards until February 24. Open Wheel Races are seeing the same boost in benefits, as well as Biker Sell Missions.
If you’d rather get your hands on new threads, you’ll also be able to pick up a Dinka tee for free just by logging in this week. Finish any Casino Work in the next seven days, and you’ll also get the Neon Stitch Emissive Mask. For more info on how to claim your free rewards, check out the full blog.
Although GTA Online has continued to be the focus of Rockstar, the company said it’s not giving up on single-player experiences. In a recent statement, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick mentioned that GTA Online was only born through the success of GTA V – and there’s no doubt that trend will continue in the future. GTA Online’s latest Cayo Perico expansion was also incredibly single-player friendly, and Rockstar is dedicated to bringing similar content to the online game.
