Mia Allen seems poised for a comeback. This popular character played by Jane Levy in the Evil Dead film directed by Fede Alvarez back in 2013 might just be making an appearance in Evil Dead: The Game at some point in the very near future.
The news comes from the official Twitter account for Evil Dead: The Game which recently posted “feast on this” along with a picture of Mia. The character only appeared in the Evil Dead movie from 2013 which is completely separate from the later television series by Starz, making their appearance in Evil Dead: The Game a little bit of a surprise for some players. Fans of the franchise in any case are clearly looking forward to their addition.
Evil Dead: The Game is a survival horror title from Saber Interactive. Players take part in co-op and multiplayer gameplay while stepping into the shoes of the iconic cast of characters from the Evil Dead franchise including Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell, and more.
“Step into the shoes of Ash Williams or his friends from the iconic Evil Dead franchise and work together in a game loaded with over-the-top co-op and player-versus-player multiplayer action,” the official description reads. “Play as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, managing your fear, and finding key items to seal the breach between worlds in a game inspired by all three original Evil Dead films as well as the Starz original Ash vs Evil Dead television series.”
Evil Dead: The Game was released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 13, 2022. According to Saber Interactive, the title will be coming out on Switch at some point in the coming months. Evil Dead: The Game received relatively mixed reviews at launch. While some praised the overall experience, others were more critical, calling out the game for its lack of polish.
