Spawn arrives as the final DLC character in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack on March 17 (coming March 24 for everyone else).
After Al Simmons' hellish alter ego arrives in NetherRealm Studios' latest game, we don't know what will come next.
Mortal Kombat franchise co-creator Ed Boon took the stage in last week's Final Kombat 2020 event to tease a little information about what we can expect in the future, stating:
"Thank you everybody for supporting Mortal Kombat. We love to do these reveals at these events as a thank you for all of this support for all of these years.
"There is a lot more to come with Mortal Kombat as well, this isn’t the end of the whole support for this game. We’ve got a lot of surprises in store."
But thanks to some of the lines Spawn says to Raiden about Batman – as revealed in an article from GameRant – it seems a very old leak may, once again, have been proven accurate.
The lines exchanged between the two fighters was leaked, word for work, back in April 2019… in the same leak that contained dialogue between Evil Dead's Ash and Spawn.
The fact that one of these leaked interactions have proved to be spot on would suggest that we are going to see Ash Williams debut in the title – as well as other leaked characters mentioned from the same datamined data.
So fans of Fujin and Sheeva (Mortal Kombat veteran characters), eat your hearts out – looks like we're going to see the legacy characters make a return.
We'll have more news for you about Kombat Pack 2 as it becomes available.
