Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 could have one big difference to BoTW
Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is one of the most highly anticipated games coming to the Nintendo Switch. The new Zelda game was a surprise announcement revealed at the end of the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct. However since that teaser trailer dropped last June Zelda fans have not had any further updates from Ninty on the new Breath of the Wild game.
As fans wait for a new Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 trailer an alleged leak has potentially revealed some new details about BoTW 2.
And this alleged leak has made a big claim about one key part of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2.
This new alleged leak, which you should take with a pinch of salt, claims to reveal more details about BoTW 2’s story, gameplay and main villain.
It claims that the new Zelda game will take place in the immediate aftermath of Nintendo Switch and Wii U classic Breath of the Wild.

Zelda and Link will be facing a new threat as they attempt to rebuild Hyrule with flashback sequences going as far back as over 100 years in the past.
However, one of the most interesting points of this alleged leak is who will be the big bad in Zelda Breath of the Wild 2.
It claims that one of the big differences between the two Breath of the Wild games is that Link’s arch nemesis Ganon will not feature in BoTW 2.
The alleged leak was highlighted in a post by GameRant and originated on Reddit.
The Redditor who posted it claims their source for BoTW 2 information has been accurate before.
They claim that their source correctly leaked Xenoblade Chronicles 2 a full year before its release.

However, while this may be true the Redditor who posted this alleged BoTW 2 leak has only made this one post on Reddit.
Which could raise plenty of eyebrows regarding the veracity of these claims.
The news comes as fans are awaiting more details on Zelda Breath of the Wild 2, which could appear in an upcoming Nintendo Direct.
Rumours had indicated that Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 was going to be the big holiday release for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
But latest leaks indicate that development on Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is allegedly talking longer than initially thought.
Which means Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 instead will reportedly be getting a release in 2021.
In its place one of the titles that could replace BoTW 2 in the Switch 2020 release schedule is Mario Kart 9.
The news comes courtesy of leaker Sabi who correctly revealed tonnes of E3 2019 announcements before they were officially made.
Sabi earlier this month tweeted: “BotW 2 [is] taking longer than anticipated back during E3 2019, so it doesn’t seem to be this year’s holiday release.
“Which adds more credence to the major title I was referencing on a tweet the other day, [Paper Mario].
“Neither is set in stone yet so take some salt. The more likely one has … tires.”
