Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath DLC Trailer Brings Back Robocop's Most Iconic, Painful Moments

Mortal Kombat 11 is just over a year old, and after a lengthy schedule of post-launch support, NetherRealm studio recently announced it’s not done yet. The Aftermath story DLC will introduce a new epilogue, characters, and some fan-favorite features, and a new trailer showcases the new content in action.

Most of the action features the trio of new roster additions–Fujin, Sheeva, and in another piece of pop culture homage, Robocop. We get a decent look at all of their movesets along with glimpses at their Fatal Blows and Fatalities. We never see a full one from start to finish, but you can piece it together, so to speak.

In fact we appear to see two fatalities from Robocop, one featuring ED-209 and another showing one of Robocop’s most infamous movie moments and assuring Baraka does not reproduce. It stands to reason that he gets the star treatment, given that he’s actually being portrayed by actor Peter Weller.

Aftermath is set to release on May 26 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. It picks up directly after the ending of the main game, and aside from adding new characters, it also adds new cosmetic options. A free update coming alongside the Aftermath DLC will bring back Stage Fatalities and Friendships, along with some classic arenas like the Dead Pool from MK2. Aftermath will cost $60 for players who want to bundle all the extra content in one go, and those who own the original Kombat Pack can upgrade with Aftermath for $40.
