Play Assassin's Creed Origins For Free On PC This Weekend

Ubisoft has announced that 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins will be free-to-play from July 19-21, with pre-loading available right now in preparation for the open-world action-RPG’s free play weekend.

To play Assassin’s Creed Origins for free this weekend, all you have to do is sign-up for a free Uplay account and visit the game’s official Uplay store page to learn when it will be free to download and play. Any progress you make during the free-play weekend will be carried over to the full game should you decided to buy it. Origins is also 80% off on the Uplay store right now, going for $12 instead of the usual $60. You can check the system requirements below to see if your PC can run Origins through Uplay.

Ubisoft, which showed off a cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during an Inside Xbox livestream last month, has scheduled a digital showcase of its own following the cancellation of E3 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Ubisoft Forward will take place on July 12 at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET and will feature “exclusive game news, reveals, and more.”
