The Entire VR Industry in One Little Email
The Daily Roundup is our comprehensive coverage of the VR industry wrapped up into one daily email, delivered directly to your inbox.
Disruptive Games announced that Megalith (2019), its first-person MOBA for PSVR, is headed to PC VR headsets soon.
First launched on PSVR in January 2019, Megalith brings classic hero shooter-style combat to virtual reality in a 2v2 arena battle. With five ‘Titans’ to choose from, you use unique powers and abilities to go head-to-head with your competitors.
Like top-down MOBAs such as DOTA 2 or League of Legends, you’re also tasked with destroying defensive walls and towers, and leading your minions to victory, albeit it in the first-person.
Disruptive hasn’t released word on whether the PC VR version (available via Steam) will allow cross-play with PSVR, or when it will arrive exactly. The studio says in a tweet that more info is coming soon.
Although we haven’t had a chance to review Megalith, the PSVR version is currently sitting at a [4.5/5] user rating. Check out the gameplay trailer below to get a better idea of what awaits:
